Terms of Service
Questions about it can go to hello@gyve.dev.
Effective November 5, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Arcaro Labs LLC ("gyve", "we", "us"). They cover the gyve website, catalog, dashboard, API and MCP server (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining an organization or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on that business's behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
If your organization signed a separate agreement with us, such as an enterprise contract, that agreement wins wherever it differs from these terms.
Who's who
- Customer (or "you"): the business or person that holds a gyve organization.
- Member: a person on a customer's team who signs in to the dashboard.
- Agent: an AI coding agent or other software you connect to gyve with an agent key.
- Kit: a catalog entry for a framework, service, MCP server or pattern. A path is an ordered set of steps for building one kind of project.
The Service
gyve is a dev harness for AI agents. The catalog describes how to build with frameworks, services and patterns: install steps, settings, the patterns to follow and the mistakes to avoid. Projects follow a path, and gyve records which steps are done. Agents connect to our MCP server to read a project's stack and the next step's instructions, and to record what they finished. The gyve command-line tool writes a project's harness into its repository and sets up the services it uses.
We may change, add or remove features and catalog content over time. If we remove something that materially reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
Your account
You need an account to use the dashboard. Give us accurate information and keep it current. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure, including your password, authenticator and recovery codes, and for everything done under your account.
An organization's owner and its admins decide who joins, what each member can do and who manages billing. You're responsible for your members and for what they do in the Service.
You must be at least 18 to create an account.
Agents and keys
Agent keys let agents read your projects and record progress. You are responsible for every call made with your organization's keys, and for what your agents do in your code and systems, including actions an agent decides to take on its own. Give each key only the projects it needs, keep it secret, and revoke any you think has been exposed.
You decide what ships. gyve guides agents; it doesn't review or approve their work. Review what your agents produce before you merge or deploy it.
The catalog and the CLI
Catalog content is advice, not a guarantee. Each kit shows when it was last checked against its own documentation, and frameworks and services change after that. Check a kit's own documentation before relying on it for anything important.
Kits describe third-party services, libraries and MCP servers that are run by their own providers, under their own terms and licenses. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them. When the gyve tool sets up a service, it calls that service from your own computer, with your own keys, under that service's terms. Review what a kit asks to do before you approve it.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- Build or run software that breaks the law, or a service's terms.
- Send malware, spam or phishing, or take part in fraud.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
- Probe or test the Service's security without our written permission, or get around its limits, keys or billing.
- Overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law lets you regardless of this term.
- Copy the catalog in bulk to republish it, resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
Security researchers acting in good faith are welcome to report issues to us at hello@gyve.dev.
Plans and billing
Subscriptions. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel. Each plan sets limits, such as seats and how many agent calls are included. Prices and limits are shown on our pricing page and when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you agree to its terms when you pay.
Free trials. If a plan offers a free trial and it ends without a subscription, features beyond what's free stop until someone in the organization chooses a plan. Your projects are kept.
Changes. Upgrades take effect right away and are prorated. Downgrades take effect from your next billing date.
Cancelling. You can cancel from Billing in your dashboard at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again. Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we retry it over the next few days. If it still can't be collected, we may pause your organization until it's paid.
Taxes and prices. Prices don't include taxes, which you're responsible for unless we collect them. We may change our prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription, and it applies from your next renewal.
Your data
You keep all rights to your projects, your notes, and the code you and your agents write. You give us permission to host, store, copy, transmit and process your data only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you, and as described in our privacy policy.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train AI models.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or catalog corrections, we may use them without owing you anything.
Our property
The Service, including its software, catalog, design and documentation, belongs to us and our licensors. While you follow these terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it, including to copy catalog guides into your own projects with gyve sync. Where we publish a tool with its own license, that license governs the tool. Our names and logos are ours. Please don't use them without asking, except to describe accurately that you use gyve.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your organization or account at any time from your dashboard.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts the Service or our other customers at risk, if payment is overdue, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable and allowed, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
When an organization is deleted, its projects and agent keys are deleted, and keys stop working. Files gyve sync already wrote stay in your repositories. Some records, such as the activity log and billing records, are kept for the periods in our privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those on fees owed, data, disclaimers, liability and indemnity, will survive it.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the Service available and the catalog accurate. Even so, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that catalog content is complete or current, or that code built with it will be secure or correct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if told they were possible.
- Each party's total liability arising from or relating to these terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100.
These limits don't apply to your payment obligations, to either party's indemnity obligations, or to liability that can't be limited by law.
Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, brought by a third party that arise from your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or from what your agents or code did with your keys.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless it's needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both parties agree to their jurisdiction.
General
These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent, except to a successor of your whole business; we may assign them to an affiliate or a successor. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to you go to your account's email address; notices to us go to hello@gyve.dev.
